Welcome to Galleria Lucia, our colourful store & working candle atelier in the heart of Berlin, where candles are handmade, creativity is encouraged, and there’s no such thing as too personal.

This is our signature candle-making experience, where you’ll create a scented candle completely from scratch - designed by you, for you. From the colour of the glass to the fragrance inside, every little detail is yours to choose.

Start by finding your favourite vessel from our collection of colourful glass jars. Then comes perhaps the hardest decision of the day: choosing your scent. Smell your way through our collection of premium fragrance oils until you find the one, before choosing your wax colour, playing with different finishes and adding natural crystals for a little extra meaning and magic.

And because every good creation deserves a name, you’ll finish your candle with a personalised label created by you. Make it beautiful, sentimental, ridiculous, romantic - it’s your candle.

We’ll be there to guide you through every step, from fragrance and wax to pouring and finishing, while sharing some of the things we’ve learned from years of making candles: how to make them burn beautifully, how to care for them properly and what to look for when choosing more sustainable candles.

Everything happens inside our Galleria Lucia store & working candle atelier on Oderberger Straße in Prenzlauer Berg - the same place where our own candle collections are created by hand. Surrounded by candles, colourful objects and a curated selection of pieces from local independent artists, you’ll get to step into our world for a couple of hours and make something of your own.

Your candle is made using natural, vegan soy wax, a cotton wick and premium fragrance oils, poured into a glass that was designed with a second life in mind. Once the candle is gone, clean the vessel and use it as a drinking glass, or order one of our wax refills and turn it back into a candle all over again.

At the end, we’ll wrap your creation in beautiful gift packaging, ready to take home!

Come on your own or bring your best friend, your date, your mum, your colleagues or your whole celebration crew. The workshop is also available privately for birthdays, bachelorettes, baby showers, corporate events and team days.

No experience needed. No two candles are the same. Just come and make yours.
