Dip, Dye & Design Your Own Candles! Ten candles. Endless colours. No rules. 

Welcome to Galleria Lucia, our colourful store & working candle atelier in the heart of Berlin, where we believe candles should be anything but boring.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll start with 10 vegan taper candles and turn every single one into something completely your own. Dip them, layer them, mix unexpected colours, create patterns, paint, write, experiment - there’s no need to make them match and definitely no need to keep things minimal.

We’ll show you our favourite dip-dye techniques and guide you through the process step by step, but what happens after that is entirely up to you. Go bold and colourful, soft and dreamy, graphic and geometric, wonderfully weird - or make ten completely different candles just because you can.

You’ll have a whole palette of colours to play with, alongside different tools and techniques to experiment with throughout the workshop. Our colour selection changes with the seasons, so there’s always something new to discover.

And don’t worry if the last creative thing you made was in school. You don’t need any experience whatsoever. Come with an idea saved on Pinterest, copy one of our designs, or simply start dipping and see where the colours take you.

The workshop takes place inside our Galleria Lucia store & candle atelier on Oderberger Straße 20 in Prenzlauer Berg, surrounded by the candles we make, the objects we love and a curated selection of work from local independent artists. Grab a complimentary drink, settle in and spend a couple of hours making something with your hands.

At the end, you’ll pack up 10 completely unique candles made by you - for your dinner table, scattered around your home, given away as gifts… or kept entirely for yourself. We won’t judge.

Come with your best friend, your date, your mum, your colleagues or your whole celebration crew. The workshop is also available for birthdays, bachelorettes, team events and private groups, and we can bring the experience to your location for larger events.
